Ray Lauffer didn't plan for any of this. He just never stopped singing.
It started in 2006, back when he was cutting his teeth with local band GMO on the stages of Curaçao. Small rooms, real crowds, learning what it means to hold a room with nothing but your voice. That foundation never left him.
By 2016 he had taken it international — reaching the semi-finals of Holland's Got Talent. But home always pulled him back. In 2020, RAEY claimed victory at the Tumba Festival — Curaçao's most celebrated musical competition. His fans gave him a name: Ray Rey. Part Ray, part Rey — king. In 2023, he did it again. Back-to-back Tumba Champion.
Today, RAEY continues to evolve — releasing music that blurs the line between performance and confession. Through RAEY Music and a growing portfolio of brand partnerships — including BMW and FLOW — he is building something bigger than a career. He is building a movement.
