“RAEY’ is a Curaçao-based singer, recording artist, and songwriter. With more than 15 years in the music scene, Raey has been highly involved in different musical project. In 2016 Ray participated in Holland’s Got Talent and made it all the way to the semi-finals. He is know as one of the lead singers of the popular local Band Gentz.
Raey is proud to be the winner of the 2020 Tumba Festival in Curaçao, the most significant musical competition on the island and, hold the records for longest reigning Tumba king. As a true fan-favorite to win the crowd, his fans have shown their support by honoring him via social media with the name “Ray Rey”. This name has a double meaning Ray and “Rey” (king). Hence, his artist name RAEY.
